We had some health issues during the build, but we knew it was in safe hands and you built our house with the same care as you would your own. We had quotes from other reputable Perth builders, however your quote was more affordable and competitive with a superior outcome. We definitely feel that we chose the right builder, as for us our home was completed exactly the way we wanted it, at a price that was unbeatable, with top quality finishes and workmanship. As we wanted to downsize we sold our family home of 38 years in York Terrace, Mosman Park in April 2018.  We wanted to stay in the area so found ourselves a block which was being sub divided and was ideal to our requirements.

It was suggested that we contact Westview Builders to arrange a meeting with Cameron Blackwell and his business partner Mick Norman. As we had no building plans they provided us with a Designer – Chris White, and an Interior Designer – Kestryn Chaloner, to assist us in developing a design specifically suited to our needs. Once we had settled on the design Westview Builders provided a quote for the development to suit our budget.

The subdivision process and provision of titles created some challenges that resulted in a protracted delay. Cameron and Mick were very patient and worked with us until we received the titles and building licence from the Town of Mosman Park in mid May 2019.

Progress was made very quickly even though they were building during the winter months. With both being retired we were down frequently to watch progress.  The owners of the Company were very proactive in answering our queries and resolving any issues, of which there were very few.

As the house progressed towards completion they accommodated our trade’s people such as the flooring contractor and concreter installing the driveway and external pavements.

We moved into the house on the 7^th February 2020. We are delighted with it as it has met all our needs and more.

We would heartily recommend Cameron Blackwell & Mick Norman from Westview Builders to anyone who is in the market for a Building Company. With their exceptional customer service, competitive pricing, and attention to detail, building our new house has been a great experience.

Westview builders have recently completed our second storey addition. 

My Wife and I are extremely happy with the end result.  

Mick And Cam came out to quote our build,  we had plans approved by council at this stage.  Unlike some of the other builders  we had come out to quote our house, Westview took the time to listen to what was important to us, and what we were trying to achieve.  Cam promptly followed up on our first meeting, answering all our questions and providing us with detailed quote.  Everything was laid out and very easy to understand, we were able to see exactly what was included.  Cam  always made us feel that any changes we made during this stage was not a hassle.  This was very reassuring for us moving forward.

During the build Mick was an excellent point of contact. If we ever had any questions or queries Mick was available on site or on the phone.  Westview on numerous occasions during  the build went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best and most complete finish possible.  This included re strutting part of the roof, that was not involved in the renovation.  We were very impressed by Westview’s attention to detail.  We made our fair share of changes, as we saw the build developing. Knowing we had the freedom to do this without incurring an admin variation fee was brilliant, this allowed us to make cosmetic changes as we saw the house take shape. 

The contractors Westview uses were all very kind clean and friendly.  They all completed their jobs to a very high standard. 

The other thing that Westview allowed us to do, that other builders would not, is work in with them.  As I have a trade background there were a few tasks I thought I could do to save us some money.  Mick was happy to let this happen,  he gave me plenty of notice of when things needed to be completed, so the build could keep progressing. 

All in all we cannot fault Westview builders, for us they have ticked every box.  We are over the moon with the end result and we now have the perfect home to raise our family in. Like with any renovation there were unexpected things that pop up, Westview gave us solutions to fix these or work around these issues.  

Most importantly the build came in on time and on budget.
